  • Pregnant or planning to be pregnant
  • Anemic
  • Diabetic
  • Internal organ diseases, such as kidney disease and thyroid disease
  • Chronic conditions, such as chronic constipations, should not undergo these diets.

At first, you may feel headaches within the first few days of undergoing these diets. These are just normal since your body was not used and still getting used to your diet.

 Homemade Cleansing Diet Recipes

Listed below are some great cleansing diet recipes that are great for colon cleansing that will surely tickle your taste buds. The great thing aCleansing Diet Recipesbout this alternative is that it cost less compared to the ones available on the market but still offers great results.

Plum Jam – First step is to get about 5kg of ripe plums, one tbsp. of apple cider vinegar, 400mg of honey and 400mg of tamarind jam. For the preparation: Chop the plums into small unequal sizes and place it in a pot filled with water. Take about one-third of the plums seeds and place it also in the pot. Boil for about one hour while continually stirring the mixture and adding water if necessary. After remove the plums seeds and lower the fires temperature and place the pot’s lid and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Let it cool then add all the remaining ingredients into the mixture. Store in any air tight container and avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Dosage: take about 1 tbsp. of this jam early in the morning before you eat, preferably on an empty stomach. This jam is also great if you have bowel problems like constipation and have trouble defecating due to a hardened stool.

Sultana-Senna syrup – Get equal amounts, about 200mg, of white sultana raisins, extract of rose hips and senna and set them aside first. For the preparation: steam the white sultana raisins in one liter of water for about 30 minutes (steaming is done to avoid it from burning). Do the same for senna. Mix both ingredients together in a 2.5 litter container. After that add the rose hip extracts into the container. After that, add boiled water into the container and fill it to the rim. Set it aside and let it cool. Store this in a cool dry place away from direct exposure from sunlight and of course, reach of children. Dosage: take 100ml of the stuff once a day (preferable at night) for about sixteen days.

A very delicious and delectable way to clean up your colon and, to add, these cleansing diet recipes cost less compared to the ones on the market. Of course, it is best that you consult first a physician though there is really no danger in taking these cleansing diet recipes.
